Safety is the #1 priority at Wheels, so we wanted to let you know about the steps we are taking to prioritize your health and safety in light of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) news.

  • Our field operations team is significantly increasing the frequency at which Wheels devices are being cleaned.
  • As part of our cleaning process, the seat, the handlebars (including the brake levers) and the body of the device are all sprayed with a disinfectant and wiped down with a microfiber towel. Throughout this process, our team members wear gloves that are thoroughly cleaned before each use and disposed of after each device is cleaned.
  • The warehouses where our devices are stored are being regularly cleaned with disinfectants.
  • Our field operations team is regularly washing their hands and complying with all other recommendations put out by the CDC.

In addition to all of the steps we are taking, we welcome you to bring your own wipes or disinfectant and wipe the device down in the same way that we do prior to using it, or wear gloves while riding. We also encourage you to wash your hands regularly throughout the day, including before and after riding.

We know that in the current environment some people are concerned about using forms of transportation that require multiple people to be in close proximity to one another. We believe that riding Wheels could be part of the solution, and are thus committed to keeping all Wheels devices as clean as we possibly can.

Thank you for riding Wheels and for helping to keep our community healthy.
