Germany Insurance

For the operations in Germany, Wheels has purchased a motor liability insurance for damages that you cause to third parties (bodily injury, property damage) as consequence of an accident during the use of a Wheels scooter – as required by the German regulation. The insurer is Allianz Versicherungs AG situated in Koeniginstraße 28, 80802 Munich.

In case of a claim:

It is important that you inform Wheels or Allianz immediately in case of an accident where a third party has been involved. In order to report a claim please provide the following information to Wheels info@wheels.co or Allianz  wheels-schaden@allianz.de (Phone: 0800-11226688):

• Your first and last name
• Your address
• Your contact information (phone and e-mail)
• Your date of birth (MM/DD/YYYY)
• How were you involved in that accident?
• Where did the accident happen (Street, City, State)?
• When did the accident happen (MM/DD/YYYY)?
• License plate of scooter (and of damaged third party vehicle if applicable)
• Please describe the accident in detail
• Please attach all photos and further supporting documents

Allianz or Wheels will reach out to you if further steps need to be taken from your side. Please note that it is very important that you as a rider accept no liability, do not enter into negotiations or commit to paying or settling third party claims for damages.

Für den Betrieb in Deutschland hat Wheels gemäß der Vorgaben in Deutschland eine Kfz-Haftpflichtversicherung für Schäden abgeschlossen, die du Dritten (Personen- und Sachschäden) infolge eines Unfalls während der Benutzung eines Wheels Scooters zufügst. Der Versicherer ist die Allianz Versicherungs-AG mit Sitz in der Königinstraße 28, 80802 München.

Die folgenden Begleitdokumente enthalten zusätzliche Informationen über die Haftpflichtversicherung der Allianz:

Meldung eines Schadens:

• Bitte hänge alle Fotos, Dokumente und unterstützenden Unterlagen zu diesem Unfall an

Die Allianz oder Wheels werden sich mit dir in Verbindung setzen, wenn weitere Schritte von deiner Seite notwendig sind. Bitte beachte, dass es sehr wichtig ist, dass du als Fahrer keine Haftung anerkennst, keine Verhandlungen aufnimmst oder dich verpflichtest, Schadenersatzansprüche Dritter zu zahlen oder zu begleichen
